Friday 17th March Blog

Good Morning!

Friday at last! We've finally made it to the weekend, I hope everyone has something good planned!

The weather has started turning now- it's gone colder and it's even started raining. Expect rain and winds over the weekend, but with warm temeperatures- highs of 8º and lows of 7º today, highs of 11º and lows of 10º tomorrow, and highs of 12º and lows of 6º on Sunday.

The new presenters and judges of the new Great British Bake Off have been announced. The show has made a move to Channel 4, when Channel 4 bought BBC out of it. The original hosts Mel Giedroyc and Sue Pekins decided not to move with the show, as did one of the judges, Mary Berry. However, Paul Hollywood decided to stay with the show and made the move with it. His new co-judge will be Prue Leith, and the new hosts will be Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig. There have been split opinions over the choice on casting for the new show, with the news of the hosts trending on twitter.

The newest Disney film 'Beauty and the Beast' is released in cinemas today. It is a live-action remake of the original cartoon.
