At Millhouse World of Wood, we pride ourselves on offering tailored delivery solutions to suit your needs. Whether you're in a remote location or have restricted access, our specialist in-house vehicles ensure your order reaches you efficiently. Here’s how we deliver:
Pick-Up Truck Deliveries
Ideal for firewood, bagged pellets, and briquettes, our pick-up truck can reach the most difficult locations. Deliveries are manually unloaded at the property, and we also offer a stacking service starting from £20 (site-specific pricing). This service ensures your products are neatly placed where you need them.
Flatbed with Tail Lift & Pallet Truck
Perfect for kerbside deliveries, this vehicle is equipped with a tail lift and electric pallet truck, ensuring pallets are lowered safely and moved as close as possible to your desired location. This vehicle excels in delivering to properties with flat, even surfaces such as tarmac or concrete.
Crane Delivery Vehicle (Hiab)
For bulk bags and crates, our crane-equipped vehicle offers precise delivery, lifting over walls and fences where access permits. This solution is perfect for properties with tight or challenging access points, ensuring your products are delivered exactly where you need them.

Collections
As well as deliveries, you are also welcome to collect anything you like from our unit. This can be orders big or small, from just one bag of kindling up to a bulk bag or a pallet! You're welcome to collect any time, 9-5 Monday to Friday or 9-1 Saturday, from our unit in Rishworth.
(If you wish to collect a bulk bag or a crate/pallet, please let us know so we can have it ready for you and someone around to drive the forklift).

NATIONWIDE DELIVERIES – THE PALLET NETWORK
Standard Delivery
Standard delivery occurs on the third or fourth working day after order. Please note that during busy periods this may extend to 5 days!
Next day Delivery
Provided customers order prior to 1 pm on a working day delivery will occur on the next working day. This service is subject to an additional fee calculated on checkout.
The Pallet Network Guidelines
The Pallet Network operates the following rules in relation to tail lift deliveries:

Deliveries are kerbside only.

The driver is not authorised to carry goods up or down steps or through a property.

The delivery driver will be able to wheel the pallet with a pallet truck as far as possible, but is not able to remove goods from the pallet or take the pallet away.

Whilst the drivers are instructed not to take their vehicle off the roadway to make deliveries, the driver will make every effort with your delivery to meet your requirements.

If you require the driver to leave the roadway, it will be at your own risk.

Once the proof of delivery (POD) has been signed by the customer or on behalf of the customer, no subsequent claims can be made against the delivering company as the POD is signed acceptance that the order is complete and intact
Standard deliveries are made on an 18 tonne vehicle. The delivery onto the property will be done with a pallet pump truck. If you require a 7.5 tonne vehicle (please note that sometimes it will be a 12 tonne vehicle) please contact us. Please Note deliveries on a 7.5 tonne vehicle can only be for goods of up to 750kg in total, any weights bigger than this will be on a standard 18 tonne vehicle. Please only select this option where it is absolutely necessary.
Please note that delivery is to kerbside only. Most drivers will go above and beyond to ensure that your delivery goes exactly where you want, but anything beyond kerbside is at the drivers discretion only. Please note that the maximum delivery on a 7.5 tonne vehicle is 2 and a half pallets. Larger orders will be despatched on an 18 tonne vehicle.
