Here at Millhouse we offer Silver Birch, Beech and Oak, and they come in various sizes to suit everybody’s requirements, nets are a great solution if you only have a small area to store them.

Which wood?
All our wood is the same consistency, each log is the same length (26cm) and less than 20% moisture content and we offer three types-
Silver Birch is a hardwood, and is commonly seen in magazines and showrooms. It is a popular garden tree, and thrives in dry woodlands, downs and heath. It is a quicker burning wood, but with a great heat output. It is the Beech is a Hardwood, and requires well-drained soil and a humid atmosphere to grow well, but can be sensitive to winter frost. It is a longer burning wood, burns with a steady flame and has a good heat output.

Oak is a Hardwood, it is a large deciduous tree, and is the most common tree species in the UK. It is a dense wood that produces a small flame, and a very slow burn, but with great heat output.
